The Imperial Barrel Award (IBA) is the world’s largest and most prestigious petroleum geoscience competition hosted annually by the American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG). Erin Miller (RECS 2010), a Graduate Student at The University of Texas at Austin’s Jackson School of Geosciences was on the 2011 winning team that beat finalists from 11 global regions and was awarded $20,000 for their AAPG student chapter.
