June 8th - The RECS group received a tour of UAB’s 3-dimensional immersive visualization lab where they were introduced to the unique capabilities of the “VisCube” and its application to CO2 injection and storage as well as other fields such as aerodynamics and medicine. Using such a laboratory provides an effective opportunity for visualizing numerical data obtained from pre-injection modeling projections or post-injection site monitoring.
