RECS Spotlight - Tuskegee University Intern

RECS 2011 intern, Freddie Eskridge, a third-year chemical engineering undergrad at Tuskegee University attended the program to provide on-site support and enhance his knowledge and primary interest in CO2 capture technologies and system integration. According to Freddie, one of the most valuable aspects of the program was learning about all components of CCS and meeting people from different disciplines. This coming fall, Freddie will be working with Dr. Nader Vahdat at Tuskegee University on a U.S. DOE-supported program, Geological Sequestration Training and Research in Capture and Transport: Development of the Most Economical Separation Method for CO2 Capture.
