RECS Day 9 - Carbon Management and CCS Deployment Strategy Exercise
June 14th - The RECS group split into five teams and received a challenge to develop a carbon management and CCS deployment strategy based on a scenario with different CO2 capture technologies. The exercise tied together all the issues presented throughout the RECS program and stimulated intense discussion. Each team presented their strategy with feedback from faculty and different groups representing various stakeholder interests (i.e. environmental NGO, Public Utilities Commission, Native American tribe, local government, etc.)
